Who runs this site

Little Finds (littlefinds.co) is an independently run website that publishes gift guides for children aged 0–12. It is not a shop. Nothing is sold here and no orders are taken here — every purchase happens on a retailer’s own site, under that retailer’s terms and privacy policy.

What is collected

Analytics. This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which guides people find useful. It records page views, roughly how long a page is read, which outbound product links are clicked, and what is typed into the gift finder. It also records approximate location derived from IP address (typically city level), plus device and browser type.

What is not collected. There is no account and no login, so no names, addresses or payment details are collected. If you send an email, that email is naturally visible — it is used to reply and nothing else.

Gift finder searches. What is typed into the finder is recorded as an analytics event, because it is the most useful signal for deciding what to write about next. Please don’t type anything personal into it.

Affiliate links

Little Finds participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. Product links on this site are affiliate links carrying the tag littlefinds0b-20. If you click one and buy something, this site earns a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are marked rel="sponsored" in the page source.

Clicking an affiliate link sets a cookie belonging to Amazon, not to this site, which Amazon uses to attribute a purchase for a limited window. What happens after you leave is governed by Amazon’s privacy notice, not this one.

Commission does not decide what gets recommended or how it is ranked. There are no sponsored placements and no paid inclusions.

Cookies

Analytics cookies are set by Google Analytics to tell repeat visits apart. Affiliate cookies are set by Amazon when you click through to it.

This site sets no advertising cookies of its own and shows no ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on. Blocking them changes nothing about what you can read here.

Children

These guides are written for adults choosing gifts for children. The site is not directed at children and is not intended for use by them. No information is knowingly collected from a child. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, email hello@littlefinds.co and it will be deleted.

Sharing and retention

No data is sold, rented or traded. Analytics data sits in Google Analytics and is retained under that account’s settings; it is not shared with anyone beyond Google acting as the processor.

To ask what is held about you, or to have it removed, email hello@littlefinds.co. Because no account or contact details are collected, in most cases there is nothing held that could identify you.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. There is no mailing list, so this page is the record.
